Loft Conversions in Leeds

Transform your unused loft into a stunning bedroom, office or bathroom — without the cost and stress of moving house.

Loft Conversion Types We Build

Velux Conversions

The most cost-effective option. Roof-light windows are added to your existing roof pitch — ideal for homes with good existing head height.

Dormer Conversions

The most popular choice. A full-width or partial rear dormer dramatically increases headroom and usable floor area. Great for en-suite bedrooms.

Most popular

Hip-to-Gable

For semi-detached and detached homes with a hipped roof. Converting the hipped end to a gable creates a substantial extra room under the ridge.

Loft Conversion FAQs

Will my house be suitable for a loft conversion?+
Most homes with a roof pitch of 35° or more and at least 2.2m from floor to ridge are suitable. We carry out a free feasibility survey to check headroom, structure and access before any commitment from either side.
Do loft conversions add value?+
Yes — a quality loft conversion typically adds 15–20% to your property's value according to Nationwide and Zoopla research. In West Yorkshire, the uplift is often more pronounced because loft space is particularly sought-after in terraced street properties.
Do I need planning permission for a loft conversion?+
Most loft conversions are Permitted Development and don't require planning permission — provided they don't exceed 40m³ (terraced) or 50m³ (detached/semi) of additional roof space and don't protrude above the existing ridge line. Dormer windows at the front always need permission. We advise at survey stage.
