Hartley Build Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a building company registered in England and Wales. Company number: 12345678. Registered office and main place of business: Leeds, West Yorkshire.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it by submitting the contact or enquiry form on this website. This may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Property postcode
  • Details of your building project

We do not collect any sensitive (special category) personal data and we do not use cookies beyond any that your browser sets automatically when loading third-party scripts (see Section 7).

3. How we use your data

We use the information you submit solely:

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free site survey or quotation
  • To contact you about the progress of your project
  • To send you a written quotation or follow-up information you have requested

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry about our services) and, where you expressly request a quotation or survey, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).

5. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for up to 3 years from the date of your last contact. If you become a client, we retain project records for up to 7 years for warranty and statutory purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

6. Data processors — Formspree

Enquiry form submissions are processed by Formspree, Inc., a US-based form-backend service. Formspree acts as our data processor and processes your submission on our behalf in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and Formspree is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Third-party scripts

This site loads the following third-party scripts purely for presentation:

  • Tailwind CSS CDN — serves the site's stylesheet from cdn.tailwindcss.com.
  • Google Fonts — loads the Montserrat typeface from fonts.googleapis.com.

These services may set technical cookies or log your IP address in accordance with their own policies. No tracking or analytics cookies are set by this website directly.

8. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing of your personal data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
