How much does a new boiler cost to install? +
A new combi boiler supply and installation typically costs £1,800–£3,000, depending on boiler size, make, and any additional pipework or system changes required. We'll provide a full written quote before committing.
How often should my boiler be serviced? +
Annually. A yearly service keeps your boiler running efficiently, maintains the manufacturer's warranty, and is a legal requirement for landlords under gas safety law. We can set you up with a reminder and annual plan.
Do I need a Gas Safety Certificate as a landlord? +
Yes. UK law requires all landlords to have an annual gas safety check carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and to provide a CP12 certificate to tenants within 28 days of the check.
My boiler pressure keeps dropping — what should I do? +
A slowly dropping pressure often means a small system leak (possibly internal). You can re-pressurise to around 1.5 bar in the short term, but if it keeps dropping, you should have it inspected. Call us and we'll diagnose the cause.
How long does a bathroom installation take? +
A standard bathroom strip-out and refit (bath, toilet, vanity, shower, tiling) typically takes 3–5 days. Larger or more complex bathrooms may take up to a week. We'll agree a schedule with you before starting.
Can you fix a dripping tap same day? +
Most of the time, yes. We carry common washers, cartridges and valves on the van. For older or unusual fittings, we may need to order parts, but we'll always advise you at the visit.
What should I do if I smell gas? +
If you suspect a gas leak: don't use any electrical switches or open flames, open windows, evacuate the building, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Once made safe, call us to locate and repair the fault.
Do you install unvented hot water cylinders? +
Yes. We are qualified to install unvented (pressurised) hot water cylinders under G3 Building Regulations. These provide mains-pressure hot water throughout your home and are ideal where a combi boiler is not suitable.
